ABOUT RACHEL

ASTROLOGICAL CONSULTING

Since childhood, I have been aware of spiritual gifts and committed to expanding my spiritual and astrological knowledge. I began studying astrology and developing mediumship skills in my late teens. I attended classes at a local metaphysical school and joined a Spiritualist community. I later studied astrology under the mentorship of some world-renowned astrologers and dedicated myself to the craft.

I received certification from the American Federation of Astrologers and am a member of ISAR, the International Society for Astrological Research. I am the Vice President for our local NCGR (National Council for Geocosmic Research) Los Angeles chapter and the Marketing Director for the international NCGR Board of Directors.

BUSINESS CONSULTATION

Before starting my practice, I worked in marketing and nonprofit fundraising. In 2002, I wrote the book Stories of Hope, which chronicled the stories of thirteen formerly incarcerated women after spending two years working with the women of Let's Start, an organization that helps women reintegrate after prison.

As a marketing professional, I created and managed marketing campaigns, strategized social media campaigns, produced videos, led advertising initiatives, and more. In both professional and volunteer roles, I successfully helped raise awareness and funds for important causes like alternative sentencing for nonviolent offenders, ending violence against women, and helping prevent and heal the effects of sexual assault. 

I remain engaged in activism and public service. I am an elected member of my community and serve on several regional agency boards. I am a proud Executive Board Member of the Stonewall Democrats of Ventura County.

I help business founders and executives strategize pathways to successful outcomes. In addition, I offer workshop facilitation, teambuilding activations, and retreats.

MY PRACTICE

I started my practice in 2006. Today, I maintain an international client base of individuals, small businesses, and corporations. I help clients understand and maximize the potential of their natal charts. We look ahead at progressions and transits to determine how to navigate the path ahead. 

In addition to my client consultations, I teach classes and write regular articles and horoscopes for the Omega Institute, Club Magic Hour, and Conscious Living. I lead meditation groups, teach workshops, and speak internationally on spiritual and astrological topics.

DEDICATED SCHOLAR AND ACTIVIST

I completed my master’s degree in Theology at Loyola Marymount University. My thesis focused on gender, religion, and justice, including my research on the witch trials of the Early Modern Period in Europe. I am passionate about social justice and environmental causes, and I regularly volunteer and support organizations dedicated to effecting change in our community.
