ABOUT RACHEL
ASTROLOGICAL CONSULTING
Rachel Lang is an astrologer, author, spiritual teacher, and community leader who blends intuition with activism, creativity with public service, and magic with grounded, real-world change.
With a Libra Sun and Taurus Rising, Rachel walks between worlds — one foot in the mystical, the other in municipal leadership. As a public servant who holds an elected office in Ojai, California, she brings her spiritual insight and creative vision into every decision, believing that leadership should be both soul-centered and community-driven.
Rachel is the author of Modern Day Magic: 8 Simple Rules to Realize Your Power and Shape Your Life (Hardie Grant) and As Above, So Below. She’s also a regular contributor to astrology columns and media platforms. She hosts The Rachel Lang Show, where conversations on astrology, intuition, magic, and collective healing meet real-world transformation.
A sought-after speaker and teacher, Rachel leads workshops and retreats at the Omega Institute, The Shift Network, and spiritual centers around the country. Her teachings blend archetypal astrology, psychic mediumship, and ritual practices to help individuals access their innate power and co-create with the universe.
Creativity infuses every part of Rachel’s life — from her painting, writing, and music-making to the way she imagines bold solutions for social equity, sustainability, housing, and community resilience. Whether she’s facilitating an astrology circle, working on a policy for unhoused residents, or writing under a New Moon, her work is guided by a deep belief that beauty, justice, and spirit all belong at the table.
Rachel’s mission is to help others awaken their inner wisdom, align with cosmic rhythms, and take inspired action — in their lives, their communities, and the world.
She received certification from the American Federation of Astrologers and is a member of the Organization for Professional Astrologers and the International Society for Astrological Research. She is the Marketing Director for NCGR, the National Council for Geocosmic Research.
Rachel serves as a director for several agency and nonprofit boards, including the Economic Development Collaborative of Ventura County, Stonewall Democrats of Ventura County, and the Ventura County Transit. She is Vice Chair of the Gold Coast Transit District board and a Community Services Policy Committee member for the California League of Cities.
